Stella

My first niece was born a few weeks ago so as soon as we got back from Hawaii I took her photos.  We also did a few family ones and some of her proud big brother too!  She is a doll and I don't know that I have ever seen a newborn look quite so girly!  Usually with a newborn it is most ideal to have them asleep since when they are awake you can't really get their eyes to focus yet... not to mention the fact that most of the time they aren't real content to just lay there posed while awake!  Stella did good though, she didn't want to go into a deep sleep but she was pretty content while awake.  Needless to say, I got some of the best shots that I have EVER gotten of a newborn looking at the camera!
